We are particularly interested in experienced collectors who have worked in late-stage collections, hardship, or financial services and can bring their expertise to our growing team. Your skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and customer engagement will be highly valued.

As a NOW Finance Late-Stage Collections Officer, you will play a pivotal role in liaising with our valued customers, delivering excellent customer service, and finding the best solutions for them.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound and inbound collection calls in high volumes
• Successfully identify customers experiencing financial hardship
• Recommend alternative collection activities, such as hardship plans, repossessions, field calls, or legal action
• Conduct investigations and skip-tracing
• Take end-to-end accountability for accounts assigned to you
• Understand and comply with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Maintain strong attention to detail and integrity in all tasks

Key Attributes & Experience:

• Strong customer service skills, with experience assisting and responding to customers over the phone or face-to-face
• Experience in a collections environment, particularly supporting customers in financial difficulty
• Skip tracing experience and knowledge of skip tracing tools are desired
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate challenging conversations
• A solutions-focused approach and the ability to make informed decisions to resolve a customer’s financial situation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet expectations
