About the role:

As part of the Transactional and Settlement Services team, you would undertake all tasks related to the funding, documentation and settlement aspects of the lending process to ensure that loans are settled seamlessly and professionally.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the lending relationship post loan approval for our direct Members and third-party suppliers;
  • Processing loan documentation, settlement and post approval variations;
  • Validating details to ensure the production of accurate complete documentation, such as transfer of property, title searches and contract of sale;
  • Instructing outsourced partners for mortgage loans;
  • Coordinating settlements and facilitating loan funding;
  • Facilitating security variation and discharge;
  • Processing variation requests into the banking system, including substitutions, partial releases and discharges;
  • Proactively managing lending relationships with relevant parties post loan approval;
  • Adhering to service level standards;
  • Ensuring daily compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures; and
  • Identifying opportunities & making recommendations to improve procedural efficiency.

About you:

The ideal candidate is a dedicated and passionate Financial Services professional with sound experience in the settlements area. You’ll be committed to professionalism and customer satisfaction. You’ll take pride in your work and love working with a variety of different stakeholders to help reach the company’s goals.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar role within retail lending operations;
  • Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • A commitment to service delivery coupled with excellent attention to detail;
  • A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflows and follow up on issues in a timely manner; and
  • The ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail in the face of high volumes and/or tight deadlines.
