As an Australian Credit Licence holder, RPS Financial Services have access to 100’s of loan products across a comprehensive network of lending institutions to assist in finding the right lending solutions for its clients.

About the role

Due to growth within the business, the organisation is seeking an experienced broker support assistant.

This is a Full time office base role in Melbourne.

As a broker support assistant, you will be managing/assisting with the loan application process from post the initial client enquiry, through to settlement, post settlement along with any other administration tasks allocated by the company..

Immediate start

No sales required as this is an administrative support role.

Duties include

  • Managing new and existing client relationships
  • Management of client file workflow processes
  • Application review, data-entry and lodgement through aggregator software – MYCRM
  • Liaising with banks, solicitors, accountant’s and real estate agencies to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Oversee all finance approval processes
  • Adherence to all lender and regulatory compliance requirements and lending processes
  • Attendance and contribution to team meetings
  • Client management and assistance with execution of Mortgage and Asset Finance documents.
  • Participating and taking responsibility in office administrative and functioning tasks

Skills and experience

  • Minimum of 12-24 months experience in Loans Processing/Banking/loan writing/Loan Admin/Asset finance & Equipment finance
  • Positive, team oriented, can-do attitude with a good sense of humour
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Reasonable working knowledge of Asset Finance, Residential and Commercial lending experience would be an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of the current banking environment.
  • Self-motivated and be able to set your own daily goals and commitments
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel
  • Flexible, engaging, and confident disposition.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills to enable nurturing of customers throughout the entire lending application journey.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience in using aggregate software (i.e., MyCrm) is not essential, but would be highly regarded
  • Completion of Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is not essential, but would be highly regarded
  • Successful applicant will need to pass a police and credit check
