About You

Are you an experienced professional in mortgage broking support who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment? We’re looking for a proactive and motivated team member to join a team of four, including remote offshore colleagues, to help deliver exceptional service to our brokers.

In this role, you'll apply your expertise in loan processing, lender policy knowledge, and broker support. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships, and playing a key part in ensuring a seamless experience for both brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within a team of four to deliver high-quality loan processing and parabroking services.

  • Actively manage loan files, using your understanding of lender policies to help identify suitable lender options for brokers and their clients.

  • Assist with loan structuring, running borrowing capacity calculations, property valuations, and compliance checks.

  • Check and submit accurate loan applications, including valuations and all required compliance documentation.

  • Maintain workflow efficiency by ensuring tasks are completed on time and brokers are supported with timely, accurate information.

  • Manage lender communications post-submission, including following up on progress and supporting any escalations.

  • Keep all files organised and compliant, proactively managing outstanding tasks and documentation.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.

  • Provide clear, professional, and solutions-focused support to brokers throughout the loan process.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in loan processing, para-broking, or a mortgage broking support role.

  • Strong understanding of lender policies and the end-to-end loan application process.

  • Proven ability to support high-performing brokers with quality, efficient loan processing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with brokers and lenders.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliance.

  • Experience working with remote team members is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking (or relevant financial services qualification).

  • Hands-on experience using loan origination software and lender portals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
