Job Summary
The Finance manager is responsible for leading the finance function in Rize including rolling forecasts, financial models, and cashflow management to predict the company's cash runway. They will monitor financial performance against targets and own the company's financial models, data, and presentation materials. The manager will also be responsible for investment planning, including determining the optimal capital structure, securing financing through equity rounds and debt products, and managing relationships with capital firms. Additionally, the manager will maintain proper financial reporting to investors, capital providers, and other stakeholders, as well as uphold professional standards in debt management.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with the accounting team

• Maintain runway, using accurate forecast and actual figures

• Monitor performance against targets in monthly performance meetings

• Maintain ownership of Rize's financial models, data room, and financial presentation materials

• Determine the optimal capital structure for the business, considering debt and equity financing options

• Develop a financial roadmap for upcoming equity/debt investment rounds and loan injections

• Arrange meetings with local and international institutions offering debt solutions, such as banks and investment firms

• Own the financial numbers, story, and pitch deck for investors, banks, and capital firms

• Manage the financial structuring process with capital companies, including meetings, sourcing, and creating the financial story and pitch presentation

• Integrate all financial products, including loans and funds, into Rize's financial roadmap

• Develop a strategy to improve the company's bottom line and revenue and product development prioritization from a financial perspective.

• Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial reports for investors, capital providers, and other stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with debt covenants and maintain professional standards in debt management

• Communicate financial performance and projections to all relevant stakeholders
  

You're a perfect match if you have

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, modeling, and fundraising for startups

• Fintech experience

• Relative experience with a financing firm or institution is a plus

• Knowledge of debt and equity financing solutions, including innovative financing instruments

• Experience working with capital firms and investors

• Demonstrated track record of maintaining professional standards in debt management and financial reporting
