Job Summary:
Test Engineer II is responsible for test design, automation and execution for assigned feature set under the guidance of Senior engineers. He/She will also be mentoring junior engineers and college interns who are also part of project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & document Test plans based on multiple selection criteria to find customer centric issue early in development cycle.
- Identify & document tool chains that will maximize automated test executions.
- Implement feature addition/enhancements to existing test scenarios.
- Do Root cause analysis for the failures and report in bug tracking system.
- Debug performance and reliability issues of the product.
- Modify test code to improve performance, enhance stability, and to fix defects.
- Communicate with team and managers to develop optimal solutions and report progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work experience 2+ years in following skills
- Technologies: Python, C
- Platform/Tools: Linux, Windows, Opensource tools, Jenkins test framework, Jira
- Database: MongoDB, Elastic Database, Key-Value Databases
- Tools: Anritsu, Anite, Amari Callbox, Spirent GSS, etc
- Test automation for wireless, telecom, cloud products with exposure to IOT domain
- Agile development methodologies for software/ system development
