Responsibilities:

  • Grow Semtech revenue and design wins in assigned accounts.

  • Identify and align corporate and other internal resources that could accelerate the execution of the services and meet account objectives.

  • Maintain situational awareness of customer account activities and direct the prioritization to meet account goals.

  • Collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Product Management, Factory Applications and Customers to sell Semtech portfolio of products and solutions.

  • Pro-active participation in the development and presentation of business and technical proposals to customers to close new business opportunities.

  • Responsible for managing the sales activities (using SFDC, SAP Analytic tools) within the assigned accounts in India and taking full ownership for all aspects of the sales process.

  • Demonstrate accurate business activity forecasting for planning and achieving revenue goals.

  • Work with related dept and participate local sales office management and people managing at where company assigns

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years demonstrated field sales and business development experience.

  • Engineering degree preferred with strong business acumen and knowledge related to the semiconductor industry.

  • Possess a clear understanding of the sales process for large accounts with complex selling cycles, preferred.

  • Ability to articulate the value of the Semtech product portfolio and take ownership of business from cradle to grave.

  • Expertise with semiconductors sales in any of the following areas: wireless, sensing, optics, ESD and/or understanding of wireless or telecom systems, preferred.

  • Must have excellent customer interface skills and sense of urgency, with the ability to work as a team player.

  • Must be an effective communicator & negotiator with the ability to interface at all levels within an organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal.
