Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Corporate and Supplier Quality Management function for Semtech. This will include document and data support for customer related inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of technical documents and communications, while conducting a variety of additional customer support-related duties. He/she will coordinate the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and Sales-Marketing to ensure appropriate technical document changes are complete and/or communicated. The Quality Assurance Analyst will also work within the Quality Assurance team for updating and maintaining Corporate Quality Documents
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Corporate Quality Manager and Corporate Quality Assurance team while maintaining Semtech’s Customer Information Request process and related data repositories, and files
- Analyze and respond to customer information requests, determine what’s needed, gather the data, complete customer surveys, checklists and send to customer within the time constraints defined.
- Work with internal business unit team, departments & suppliers to obtain data necessary to complete requests, populate the data repository (PLM), and keep Sales-Customer informed on activities extending beyond their requested date or QA provided ECD=Estimated Completion Date.
- Establish and maintain cycle times for the customer request system working closely with customers, suppliers, and other quality team members to quickly and efficiently resolve requests for information by using the supported document repositories and the current quality system, PLM and RoHS Compliance Table to their satisfaction.
- Maintain and gather product and process data required for periodic reporting as required by customers.
- Follow up with back-end quality processes supporting supplier corrective actions, process engineering change notifications, end of life notifications and supplier environmental test reports.
- Interface directly with customer on-line portals to upload data, complete surveys and respond to requests.
- Special Projects as assigned by Supervisor-QA Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required 2 years prior experience in quality assurance, document control, and customer support functions working in a fast-paced team environment in the following areas:
- Coordinating tasks and communications with cross functional teams for collection of data/responses.
- Driving multiple tasks and projects to completion under deadlines.
- Preferred experience addressing environmental compliance regulations such as RoHS, REACH, PFAS, TSCA, and other Banned-Restricted, Hazardous Substances requests.
- Preferred experience with Conflict Materials Reporting Template (CMRT) but not mandatory.
- Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and Visio
- Preferred experience with Agile/PLM=Project Life Management & SAP=Systems Applications and Products but not mandatory.
- Effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough written and verbal command of the English language.
- Preferred College Degree but not mandatory

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $45,000-$65,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
