Semtech’s Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the world’s leading data, video, and consumer communication companies. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test solutions at package and/or wafer level for new products on the Advantest V93000 test platform, including both software and hardware;

  • Work with a cross-functional product team to assess and evaluate new designs and provide feedback based on ATE test results;

  • Participate in new product design meetings and work with senior test engineers to drive analog and digital DFT techniques into new devices;

  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to complete ATE characterization to ensure the robustness of IC designs and test solutions over specified conditions and process variation;

  • Support product qualification by developing reliability screening solutions to evaluate device performance during life testing;

  • Deploy test solutions to our far-shore OSATs and support the ramp-up to full production;

  • Hold periodic test review meetings with project teams and create required documents and reports;

  • Optimize existing test solutions to improve yield and/or test time and drive continuous margin improvement.

  • Deliver high quality test results in line with quality management standards;

  • Produce concise, accurate and timely project reports and updates (written and oral).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline;

  • Lab experience;

  • Understanding of PCB design circuit design;

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and build relationships with peers in other disciplines;

  • Capable of working to aggressive project timelines;

  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with design, product, validation, test and applications engineers;

  • Work to aggressive project timelines;

  • Multitask with multiple projects in different lifecycle phases;

  • Engage with outside hardware vendors to ensure test hardware is ready to meet project schedules.
