We are presently looking for a Placement Year Student to be located in our Bristol Office. This role is a great opportunity to work with a highly motivated team of engineers who have worked in the communications industry for many years, working alongside a world class design team to produce market leading products for the data communication’s industry.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join us on their placement year and support our laboratory test engineering activities.

In return this role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their engineering knowledge within a progressive engineering team; working on leading edge technology and industry shaping / disrupting semiconductor devises that have already helped to shape and progress the internet.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the product development teams throughout the NPI cycle.
Contribute to ongoing product verification and manufacturing by supporting ATE Test activities.
Support the process to automate test equipment through software such as Python, C++ and Java.
Data analysis and reporting of product verification and manufacturing test results.
Evaluation of test equipment options.
Creation and development of tools to optimise the workflow process.
Develop innovative hardware & fixture solutions.
Define and execute PCB schematics and layouts.
