Job Summary:
The ESG Program Senior Specialist is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, with a particular focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting. This role involves producing comprehensive ESG reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and promoting sustainability initiatives across the organization. The specialist will collaborate with various departments to collect and analyze ESG data, enhance transparency, and communicate the company’s sustainability efforts to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the ESG compliance reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with applicable standards and stakeholder expectations and drive the implementation and prepare corporate certification of ISO 14064 (20%)
Oversee the preparation of ESG analysis for internal and external stakeholders, including the release of the Corporate Sustainability Report while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of ESG reporting processes. (15%)
Develop and produce detailed ESG reports, including annual corporate sustainability reports, aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD and review/maintain environmental regulations/permits along with determining whether they are being applied properly and make recommendations to maintain and improve environmental performance. (15%)
Partner with key internal stakeholders to regularly discuss strategy and goals, monitor progress, highlight challenges and support various initiatives and activities towards ESG goals and engage and manage current third-party relationships in support of delivering on our environmental goals (15%)
Develop and expand our internal and external brand and reputation ensuring we highlight topics most relevant to current and potential employees, customers and suppliers. (10%)
Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and legal actions (10%)
Conduct environmental training classes (5%)
Conduct special projects and perform additional duties as needed. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, sustainability management, business administration, public policy, or science; Master’s degree highly preferred
Minimum 7 years’ experience
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: You must be able to identify problems and then select the methods that will provide the best chance of solving them.
Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork with colleagues globally and strong communication skills will be an essential element to achieve our environmental goals
Reading Comprehension: You need the ability to read and seek understanding with documentation that is often outside your area of expertise.
Writing: You will have to be able to compose documentation that others without expertise in engineering will be able to understand.
Safety mindset: You must have a commitment to workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance.
Independent worker: A demonstrated ability to follow direction and work independently, as well as, in a team environment and a positive and professional attitude will help you excel in this job.
Computer skills: Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Office products is essential; use of statistical database tools such as JMP will be required.
Project management skills: You must have good project management skills and be self-motivated.
ESG/CSR subject matter expertise, knowledge of industry best practices and trends
Experience in facilities operations and the semiconductor industry
Demonstrated record of developing and executing innovative, insightful ESG/CSR strategies and programs, working across departments and teams, managing multiple priorities and timelines and achieving results with a data driven approach
Must be a US resident
Ability to travel ~10%.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package
