Lead Engineer- PCB Design

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Test Engineers to develop various test hardware to support new product release and various engineering projects-20%
Create schematic based on any drawings format: schematic software, hand drawings, etc.-20%
Place and route components ensuring that all electrical and physical specifications meet the specific design requirements for each PCB design-20%
Create fabrication and assembly drawings, parts list, incorporate changes to existing design documentation and create and maintain component library for schematic and footprint-15%
Suggest options when faced with challenging PCB design situations including resolutions to non-standard problems-15%
Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standard-10%
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum an associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology
Minimum 10 years of experience in PCB design
Proficient in schematic capture and layout generation using Altium Designer software
Good understanding of electrical circuits and components behavior and their parasitic elements and interaction
Solid knowledge of signal integrity and design for manufacture rules
Experience with a variety of board types, including high density and high layer count (greater than 16) digital designs, power electronics, flex circuits, and RF circuits
Thorough understanding of PCB fabrication processes, tolerances, IPC standards
Effective verbal and written communication
Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule
Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams
Strong interest in or already have experience in mentorship and team leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project
