Job Summary:

The Human Resources Representative position is responsible for performing basic human resources activities within our semiconductor company. This position supports HR operations, assists with employee services, and helps coordinate HR information and processes. The role requires fundamental understanding of HR principles, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail to support effective workforce management in the semiconductor industry. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and must demonstrate high accountability for work by clearly taking responsibility for tasks, provide timely responses, set clear objectives with measurable outcomes, and continuously monitoring processes, progress, and results to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement across all HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Services Support (30%)

Primary point of contact for employees to support general inquiries and service requests • Exceptional customer service standards and escalate complex issues to HR management • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation activities • Help process employee status changes and updates • Support benefits enrollment and administration • Maintain employee files and HR documentation

  • HR Administration (25%)

Maintain HR databases and information systems • Support HR data integrity and accuracy within HRIS • Help organize HR records and documentation • Assist with HR data entry and updates • Support HR administrative processes and workflows • Update and maintain HR processes

  • HR Program Support (25%)

Support HR programs and initiatives • Assist with employee engagement activities • Help coordinate training and development logistics • Support performance management processes • Maintain program documentation and materials

  • Recruitment Support (10%)

Support recruitment and hiring processes • Assist with job posting and applicant tracking • Help coordinate interview scheduling and logistics • Support candidate communication and documentation • Maintain recruitment files and applicant records

  • Cross-functional Coordination (10%)

Support coordination between HR and other departments • Participate in HR meetings and reviews • Help facilitate information flow between teams • Assist with gathering information from various functional areas • Support alignment of HR activities with department objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of HR administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of basic HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work well independently and proactively, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role - no job too big or too small
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with HR operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS system (Workday preferred)

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel required (less than 5% of time)
  • May require occasional travel between company facilities within Colorado Springs

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $25-32/hr. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
