Responsibilities:

• Lead conversations with customers to inform design/marketing teams of customer challenges and changing product requirements (30%)

  • Create engaging product demonstrations to highlight key product features

• Support existing and new product launches by creating technical collateral (30%)

  • Increase product adoption/retention through high quality documentation (data sheets, user guides, application notes, etc.) and evaluation tools

  • Expand the reach of our capacitive sensing solutions through digital content like videos and technical articles.

• New product definition: Engage with customers to define the next generation capacitive sensing requirements (20%)

  • Conduct laboratory experiments to benchmark against competitor components and highlight Semtech advantages

• Sales/Field Application support: Provide product training to field teams and create training collateral/presentations for new product launches. (10%)

• Industry engagement: Attend tradeshows/workshops/conferences and collaborate with reference design partners for joint promotional efforts. (10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of product applications experience in the automotive market

• Strong customer engagement skills, including communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

• Proven experience collaborating with global product development teams to successfully bring new products to market

• Knowledge of Analog / Mixed-signal Circuitry, and ADCs

• Experience working in a lab environment (comfortable working with/automating lab equipment: e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic, with a commitment to achieving business objectives

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Capacitive or Magnetic sensing applications

• Python or Matlab experience for data analysis or evaluation GUI development
