Our Team:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join the Networking Solutions product management team. This team is responsible for our AirLink networking solutions, including advanced network management and cloud services. We are focused on providing mission-critical connectivity solutions in mobility and industrial market verticals. We are building solutions that enable our customers in the transformation to a smarter and more sustainable planet.

Job Summary:

The Product Manager for Networking Solutions will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Semtech's AirLink networking portfolio, including edge routers, gateways, and associated software solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in cellular networking, IoT connectivity, and edge computing who can translate market needs into compelling product offerings that drive revenue growth and market leadership.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the networking solutions portfolio

  • Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research

  • Develop and maintain a 3-year product roadmap

  • Drive product positioning and differentiation strategies

Product Planning & Execution

  • Translate customer requirements into detailed product specifications

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on features and release schedules

  • Prioritize features and manage product backlog

  • Monitor development progress and ensure on-time delivery

  • Define and track key product metrics and KPIs

Go-to-Market & Business Development

  • Partner with marketing on product messaging and launch strategies

  • Support sales teams with training and competitive positioning

  • Engage with key customers and partners for feedback

  • Contribute to pricing strategies and business cases

  • Represent products at industry events and conferences

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and marketing

  • Drive stakeholder alignment on product priorities

  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years product management experience in networking/IoT/telecommunications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Science, or Engineering

  • Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and ecosystem (customers, carriers, partners)

  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a cross-functional, multi-disciplined team

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to develop key concepts and execute them

  • Required travel will be up to 15%

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in public safety, utilities, or transportation markets

  • Proven track record launching B2B technology products

  • Familiarity with edge AI/ML applications

  • Previous experience at networking/IoT companies

  • A business degree such as an MBA is desired but not necessary

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $95,000 - $111,000 or USD $68,000 - $80,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
