Job Summary

The Network Solutions Pre-Sales & Delivery Engineer is responsible for designing, validating, and delivering secure edge networking solutions for enterprise and government customers. This role operates at the intersection of pre-sales consulting, solution architecture, and hands-on delivery—supporting the full customer lifecycle from initial engagement through deployment and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Delivery (25%)
    Architect secure, scalable edge network solutions aligned to customer requirements and lead end-to-end delivery across mobile, satellite, and hybrid environments.
  • Pre-Sales Technical Support (25%)
    Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs, shape technical solutions, and lead proofs of concept and pilot deployments prior to full rollout.
  • Service Delivery & Operational Support (25%)
    Manage technical deployments, support transitions into production, and troubleshoot incidents and change requests in line with SLAs and defined scopes of work.
  • Partner Enablement (10%)
    Train and support channel partners to independently deploy, operate, and support SD-WAN and edge networking solutions.
  • Technology Leadership (15%)
    Maintain current knowledge of evolving SD-WAN, edge networking, and connectivity technologies, contributing technical insight and best practice across the organisation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related engineering discipline
  • 6+ years’ experience designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise or government network solutions
  • Proven experience in pre-sales consulting and customer-facing solution delivery
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking, SD-WAN, WAN technologies, VPNs, wireless networks, security principles, and remote connectivity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile (cellular) and/or satellite communication networks
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN routers, firewalls, and device provisioning platforms
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, AWS, JNCIP, or equivalent
  • Experience in telemetry, SCADA, or industrial communications environments
