Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Semtech optical products in all applications. Finish work following the company’s core value.
- Optical, power, TVS and communication products knowledge are required.
- Good communication skill with customer and internal team to promote best solution to all applications. Can build good relationship with customer’s engineer.
- Experience on production block diagram and clearly understand Opps in all kinds of applications.
- Can learn new knowledge and technical of company’s new production actively.
- Familiar with competitor’s production and know benefit we can support to customer.
- Driving end customers engineer to use latest and right solution for right products to win business.
- Co-work with AE team to solve customer’s technical issue on site.
- Co-work with QA team to solve customer's quality issue onsite.
- Work with sales to manager distributor and end customer to drive business growth.
- Train distributor’s FAE and customer’s engineer for new products.
Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE with 5 years' hardware RD experience (optical module )or AE experience in related semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge with analog/Mixed Signal Semiconductors.
- Understanding and experience of high speed schematics and PCB design, able to support customer finish SCH and PCB layout review independently.
- Knowledge of basic flows of firmware/GUI running is required
- Knowledge of the fundamental of optical chips/assembly is required
- Excellent problem solving, presentation, communication skills.
- Willing to travel.
- Good command of oral & written English.
- Discipline, integrity, passion and self-motivated
- DSP related application experience is preferred.
- Results driven; must demonstrate excellent multi-tasking and time management skills; proactive customer support skills.
- Familiar with Semtech product is preferred
- Basic knowledge of IC’s design/manufacture/test/storage is preferred
- Good knowledge of Analogue and Digital/MCU circuit design is preferred
