Responsibilities:

1 Planning and execution of assigned NPI products (45%)

• Support the team in planning and reviewing characterization plans, schedules, and hardware requirements.
• Learn to define, integrate, and implement product-specific characterization test benches—pulling together test equipment, PCB hardware, software, and fixtures, with growing exposure to optical and electrical products where required.
• Bring up and develop repeatable, reliable automation solutions (Python, VISA, data processing) under guidance from senior team members.
• Analyze results and data using tools like JMP, Python, and Excel, and review findings with the core team.
• Work closely with other teams, locally and at other sites, to support execution of characterization activities to schedule.

2. Tool and process development (25%)

• Learn and contribute to Python automation and the team's characterization repository.
• Begin adding and improving automated test methods and post-processing techniques under senior guidance.
• Adopt and actively use Claude AI daily to boost efficiency.

3. Self-development (30%)

• Actively build skills and knowledge in relevant areas—like new test equipment, electronics, signal integrity, automation/programming, standards, packaging, connections, company processes, tools, etc.
