Description
Ready to take your career to the next level?
Skai is looking for the best and the brightest to join our rapidly growing team. We're proud of our industry-leading digital marketing software but we're even prouder of the people behind it. That's where you come in!
Skai is seeking a Director of Global Events & Experiential Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of standout brand experiences globally. From flagship Skai-hosted events and major industry moments to executive experiences, partner activations and hospitality, you’ll create programs that bring our brand to life, deepen relationships and drive commercial impact. This is a strategic and highly hands-on role, with end-to-end ownership of Skai’s global events program — from the initial concept and messaging through to speakers, promotion, production, onsite delivery and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Skai’s global events and experiential strategy in line with brand and GTM priorities.
- Build and manage a global programme of hosted events, industry sponsorships, executive experiences, partner activations and hospitality.
- Own the entire event experience from initial concept to post-event follow-up, including positioning and messaging, agenda development, speaker sourcing and preparation, audience acquisition, creative production, logistics, onsite delivery and measurement.
- Act as the central lead for every event, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver one cohesive, high-quality experience.
- Create original concepts and activations that make Skai stand out and give customers, prospects and partners a memorable experience.
- Partner with Brand, Sales, Customer Success and Product Marketing to define audiences, content, messaging and engagement plans.
- Collaborate with strategic partners including Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Google and TikTok on joint events and experiences.
- Manage event agencies, venues, production partners, sponsorships, vendors and budgets.
- Measure success across brand impact, audience quality, engagement, pipeline and revenue, using insights to improve future investment.
- Use AI and emerging technology to support event concepting, content development, audience personalization, operational efficiency and measurement.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in events or experiential marketing, ideally within B2B technology, SaaS, advertising or media.
- Proven experience creating and delivering global events, major hosted programs and brand activations, including events for 200+ attendees.
- Strong creative instincts and the ability to turn business objectives into distinctive and engaging experiences.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with experience developing event messaging, agendas and speaker content.
- Excellent project, production and budget management skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and experience measuring event impact and ROI.
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers and sponsorships across multiple regions.
- Confidence working with senior executives, customers, sales teams and strategic partners.
- Curious and confident in using AI tools to work more efficiently and create stronger event experiences.
- Willingness to travel internationally and lead events onsite.
We are hybrid for the long term - with a great home/ office work mix (three days in office per week), passionate and diverse team members, and a vibrant company culture.
The salary range for this position is $140,000-$160,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
