About the Role

The Retail Operations Manager, a brand new role to our business will act as a 2IC for our Regional Manager (based out of Sydney) and be responsible for managing the customer flow in our Canberra hub, ensuring an unforgettable experience as soon as they arrive.

The role will be very autonomous and fast paced, suiting someone with experience in a busy retail environment. An element of strategy regarding sales and expanding our brand throughout the region will be a large part of this role so having proven experience in bringing in revenue will be beneficial!

The role will also be responsible for:
  • Driving sales initiatives within the State
  • Manage sales KPI’s and targets through existing customer pipeline
  • Monitoring customer tickets and calls, ensuring they are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Implementing processes and procedures.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding compliance for customers
  • Accident Management for customers
  • Vehicle inspection sign off on return and pre going out
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate actively in developing customer centric strategies
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to continuously refine our product offerings
What You’ll Bring:
  • 4+ years experience in a fast-paced customer facing retail environment
  • Proven sales experience with a passion for customer service
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead with empathy
  • Experience managing customers with diverse backgrounds
  • Comfortable managing conflict and resolving issues
  • Comfortable working through contracts
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Hold a valid Drivers License
  • Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Comfortable with an in-office role working out of our central Canberra hub
  • Ability to work Saturdays as per roster

Please note: Rostered weekend work is a mandatory requirement of the role. On rostered weekends, (Saturday / Sunday) employees will receive a rostered day off on the following Monday/Tuesday respectively.
