About the Role

The Vehicle Remarketing Manager holds ultimate responsibility and oversight of Splend's national fleet disposal strategy. This individual will bring significant experience and knowledge in managing relationships within Splend’s network of buyers, dealers, and wholesalers. They will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders, to coordinate market specific remarketing strategies, working to continuously optimise disposal avenues as market conditions change.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop market relevant asset disposal strategies with the goal of achieving maximum resale values
  • Organise and manage vehicle tenders across all states ensuring we have adequate attendance and competitive results
  • Negotiate with dealers for individual vehicle sales providing upgrade opportunities for our customer base.
  • Manage the relationships of our current network of dealers, buyers and wholesalers.
  • Identify key opportunities to de-fleet certain vehicles at opportunistic times.
  • Coordinate logistics of transporting vehicles between Splend locations.
  • Provide weekly updates based on sale results and key updates in the market.
What you'll bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (3+ year's experience)
  • Desire to build relationships with a network of vehicle buyers, wholesalers, and auction houses
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proven experience building effective strategies
  • Clear and direct communication
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of the used car market and valuations
