About the role
As the Regional Manager - Victoria, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for the strategic direction and operational excellence of Splend’s Customer Support Hub in Victoria. Your deep understanding of the local market—its customer needs, product opportunities, and competitive landscape—will inform actionable insights that drive growth and innovation. As the face of Splend Victoria, you will lead by example, balancing hands-on management with strategic foresight to deliver sustainable expansion. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies that align with national business objectives while addressing local market needs.
- Analyse and act on market insights, including customer behaviour, product performance, and competitor trends, to enhance Splend’s value proposition.
- Drive an entrepreneurial approach to scaling operations and achieving regional success, treating the region as your own business.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the lifecycle of customer journeys, including onboarding, car inspections, exchanges, terminations, and escalations.
- Ensure fleet management standards meet Splend’s operational guidelines, optimizing vehicle utilization and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accountability for state-specific revenue performance, data integrity, and operational reporting, providing actionable insights and initiatives.
Team and Culture Development
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of Customer Specialists, Vehicle Logistics Specialists, and Team Leads to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Foster an inclusive environment, building meaningful connections across diverse cultural backgrounds and championing equity within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions, encouraging innovative thinking and career development.
- Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship, cultivating a high-performing and engaged team culture.
Customer-Centric Sales and Growth
- Leverage product expertise to drive sales effectiveness and customer acquisition, supporting Splend’s mission to deliver exceptional value.
- Collaborate closely with national and regional stakeholders to identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Represent Splend Victoria with confidence and authenticity in customer and community engagements.

- Previous experience in fleet management or similar industries is advantageous.
