About the role
We’re looking for a Product Strategy Manager to define and refine our product suite, ensuring it meets market demands and drives business growth. This role will be based out of our Sydney CBD office and is responsible for shaping our product offering, optimising our sales mix, and aligning vehicle inventory with customer needs.
You will work cross-functionally to develop and implement product strategies, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and operations to maximise new product penetration and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you’ll partner cross functionally to design and execute launch strategies, ensuring our teams are equipped to sell effectively and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Combining technical expertise with strategic vision, you will manage the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch.
Responsibilities
- Define and optimise Splend’s product suite to ensure offerings align with market demand, customer needs, and business objectives
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions and ensure Splend remains competitive
- Develop pricing and positioning strategies to maximise sales performance and align with business growth objectives
- Craft detailed product roadmaps, outlining development stages, key milestones, and resource allocations to guide products from concept to market launch
- Utilise advanced business analytics to support decision-making and demonstrate the strategic value of new products to Splend
- Ensure seamless product rollout by working closely with retail teams, providing the necessary tools, training, and insights to effectively sell and support new offerings
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring product development progresses within agreed parameters and resource constraints
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective product launch strategies, ensuring optimal market penetration, brand alignment, profitability and customer satisfaction
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in product strategy, go-to-market planning, or commercial analysis preferred
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management, with a strong focus on strategic project execution
- Advanced analytical skills to derive insights from market data and evaluate complex technical scenarios
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and effectively negotiating with stakeholders
