About us
At Splend, we’re on a mission to fundamentally change the way people own and operate a vehicle. With a strategic focus on Rideshare, we provide our customers straight forward, no strings attached access to vehicle ownership.
But we aren’t just about vehicle ownership; We are also fast-tracking the transition to green mobility, and we are leading the way globally in reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.
About the role
You’ll be the heartbeat of our operations, making sure vehicles are road-ready and exactly where they need to be. This role is a mix of hands-on and smart coordination. You’ll spend plenty of time out on the yard moving cars, checking them over, and giving them that showroom shine, while also managing the admin that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
From prepping vehicles for inspections and installing tracking units to updating systems and scheduling MOTs, you’ll own the process end-to-end. You’ll work closely with suppliers, service partners, and internal teams to keep things flowing across our growing multi-site operation.
This is a dynamic, physical, and fast-paced role — expect daily vehicle movements and problem-solving on the go. If you love variety, teamwork, and making things happen, you’ll feel right at home in our Cricklewood Hub.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring services, running Vehicle checks, spotting issues early and coordinating fixes to make sure nothing stays off-road for long.
- Fit tracking units (Geotab), support customer setups, and troubleshoot when needed — you’ll be the go-to problem solver.
- Keep our yards organised and transfers smooth, so multi-site operations run like clockwork.
- Make sure vehicles are customer-ready - clean, charged and presented to the highest standards, because first impressions matter.
- Accept new vehicle deliveries by checking them over, tagging keys and updating systems so they’re ready for sale or rental.
- Ensure cars and documents are inspection ready for NSL and PCO processes, including documentation scanning and compliance uploads.
- Keep systems accurate with on the ground vehicle status, including managing keys and keeping key documents like MOTs and V5Cs organised and secure.
- Schedule servicing and MOTs whilst managing daily car logistics between dealers, body shops, MOT centres, and Splend hubs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges, improve processes, and keep operations running smooth.
What you'll bring
- Experience in vehicle operations, ideally in a fleet or PCO environment, with a strong ability to keep things moving efficiently and smoothly.
- Comfortable using Geotab (or other telematics/fleet tracking tools), spreadsheets and being hands on with our vehicles.
- Skilled at managing multiple workflows and coordinating different moving parts.
- You bring high energy, resilience, and a proactive attitude. You’re a team player who’s always ready to help others succeed.
- You take responsibility, flag issues early, and work towards solutions with confidence.
- You’ll have exceptional attention to detail. Noticing things that matter, like worn tyres, missing keys, or incorrect documents, before they become problems.
- You’re able to build positive relationships with teammates, suppliers, and drivers — both in person and over the phone.
- A Full UK licence.
- Comfortable commuting daily to our Cricklewood Hub.
