About This Role
We're looking for a creative and driven HR Generalist to join our vibrant Growth team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and driving change. Here's what you'll do as a Senior HR Generalist:

HR Cross Boarders

  • Work in cross collaboration with local and regional teams in delivering HR initiatives: Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and China.
  • Responsible for multiple HR functions including compensation & benefits, performance management, talent management, employee relations, engagement, training and development

Talent Acquisition Management

  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Talent Management & Engagement

  • Develop and implement performance management strategies to better recognise and retain talents, and to maximise employees’ strengths and contribution in pursuing our business goals
  • Identify opportunities, design and facilitate learning solutions/interventions/personalised development plans
  • Track and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the solutions, and measure behavioural outcomes
  • Provide data and solutions to leaders in the creation of development plans that meet progression/succession and retention needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs, including events, workshops, and recognition initiatives.

Compliance Management

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

HR Advisory

  • Coach and support line managers on HR related decisions
  • Own the process of ensuring that employees’ needs are met in the HR lifecycle
  • Partner with the People Manager in designing, developing, and implementing People-related processes, policies, and experiences
  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, managing correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Workplace Management

  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required
  • Liaise, manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Reporting office progress to senior management and working to improve office operations and procedures. Manage office G&A budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
What you will need:

To excel in this role, you should possess a unique blend of skills and knowledge:

  • Big passion in helping small-medium businesses
  • 6 years of experience in Human resource fields
  • Understanding of the local labour law and regulations, and of corporate policies.
  • Recruitment skills to create/explore innovative/novel ways of assessing candidates’ competencies, strengths, drive, behaviour, attitude, culture fit, etc. (through interviews, assignments, social experiments, etc.)
  • Experience in supporting organisation-wide talent management programmes that cover leadership development and progression planning
  • A strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work cross collaboratively with international counterparts.
  • Skills in relationship-building across functions and job levels, and able to present information articulately to a diverse group of stakeholders (including C-level executives)
  • An incredible desire for accuracy and detail-orientedness
  • The ability to work through ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities and needs, while handling multiple tasks with a positive, can-do attitude
  • An inclination towards solution-based thinking and data-driven decision making
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
