In the Business Consultant Team Lead role, you'd be responsible for your own team in driving the company's revenue growth. You will be managing a team of Business Consultants (who are the deal closers for leads within our inbound & outbound sales pipeline) by understanding the requirements of SME business owners, and conducting product demonstrations all the way to handling pricing negotiations.
You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.
What you will do:
- Lead and align Business Consultants (BCs) to the goals set by the company
- Understand and analyse blockers in our current marketplace, then develop strategies and next steps as feedback to the leadership team and country sales manager
- Carry a percentage of Revenue of the sales team’s quota and drive the BCs team to hit monthly targets
- Train our Malaysian Business Consultants on sales techniques/skills, process, and product knowledge
- Responsible for KPIs and goals of your team of Business Consultants
- Curate and communicate country-specific product and pricing feedback and opportunities
- Represent StoreHub by assisting to manage and close large corporate client deals
You will need to have/be:
- A big passion for helping small businesses
- At least 4 years of doing Outbound Sales
- At least 2 years experience managing or working as a team lead for a Sales team
- Excellent people skills and are comfortable with presenting and explaining StoreHub’s products to our clients
- Able to create outbound solution messaging both in written and verbal form
- Solid knowledge and skills in customer orientation, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced data-driven sales environment
- Excellent command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to quickly deliver solutions
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, especially regarding technical aspects
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to self-direct, prioritise work, and meet deadlines
