We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Pricing Lead to join our rapidly growing used automotive business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing the pricing strategy for both vehicle procurement (from fleets and individuals) and subsequent sales (via auction and company website) in the dynamic Saudi market. The successful candidate will leverage company data, market intelligence, and deep analytical capabilities to maximize profitability, volume, and market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing models for the procurement and sale of used vehicles.
    • Utilize internal data (e.g., historical sales, inventory levels, condition reports) and external market information (e.g., competitor pricing, depreciation trends, consumer demand) to generate optimal pricing recommendations.
    • Set and manage dynamic pricing for vehicles sold through various channels, including the company website and B2B auctions, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and margin capture.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Sourcing, and Operations teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Data Analysis & Channel Expansion
    • Lead the analysis of pricing performance, identifying key drivers of margin, volume, and average selling price.
    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular, actionable reports to senior management.
    • Proactively expand and refine the channels of information used for pricing decisions, incorporating new data sources, analytical tools, and market intelligence platforms to enhance pricing accuracy and responsiveness.
    • Conduct deep-dive market research and competitive analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three direct reportees (e.g., Pricing Analysts or Specialists).
    • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
    • Oversee the team’s daily operational tasks, including data extraction, model maintenance, and pricing adjustments.
  1. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a pricing, commercial analysis, or financial modeling role, preferably within the automotive, e-commerce, or used vehicle market.
  2. Location: Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  5. Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian automotive market, including pricing dynamics, consumer behavior, and regulatory environment.
  6. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
