At Syarah, we are building the future of automotive e-commerce in the region, with data at the core of our operations. We’re looking for a Senior Data Specialist to support and scale our data systems, analytics, and reporting capabilities.

This is a hands-on role where you will build reliable data pipelines, improve data quality, and generate insights that support business decisions across product, operations, and finance. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure on GCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Develop and optimize Syarah’s data platform on GCP (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Run)
• Design and maintain clean, scalable data models for reporting and analytics
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP and operational systems
• Develop and maintain APIs (Flask or similar) for data access and integrations
• Manage and monitor data workflows using Airflow or similar tools
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Support integration of tools like Mixpanel and Adjust for analytics and tracking
• Build dashboards and reports for business teams
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
• Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to support data needs
• Contribute to automation and internal tooling, including AI-related use cases where relevant

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or similar roles
• Strong experience with GCP (BigQuery preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
• Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
• Experience with APIs (Flask or similar frameworks is a plus)
• Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics best practices
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Adjust) is a plus
• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
