We are looking for an ambitious, competitive, and growth-minded Showroom Supervisor to lead our showroom sales team, drive sales performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily showroom operations, supporting the sales team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring that customers receive a smooth and professional buying experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the showroom sales team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Set daily and monthly sales targets for the sales team and closely monitor performance against KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Officers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor customer traffic, leads, follow-ups, conversions, and overall showroom sales performance.
- Ensure customers receive a professional, welcoming, and high-quality experience throughout the buying journey.
- Support the sales team in handling complex customer inquiries, negotiations, complaints, and escalations.
- Ensure that Sales Officers clearly explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, financing options, and the purchasing process to customers.
- Monitor and support vehicle inspections and test drives, ensuring that all showroom procedures and safety requirements are followed.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer and sales documentation required for the showroom and financing process.
- Support the team in negotiating vehicle prices and trade-in values while ensuring alignment with company pricing and profitability guidelines.
- Coordinate with management, vehicle owners, finance companies, and other internal teams to ensure the timely completion of sales procedures.
- Work closely with the procurement and sales teams regarding vehicle pricing and supplier negotiations to maximize company profitability.
- Track sales pipeline and follow up on pending deals, ensuring opportunities are progressed and closed in a timely manner.
- Analyze sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales results, conversion rates, customer feedback, and team performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement actions to increase showroom sales, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide performance feedback, and support the development of Sales Officers through coaching and on-the-job training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and customer service standards.
- Follow up with previous customers to ensure satisfaction, encourage customer retention, and address any post-sale concerns.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth post-sale experience.
- Perform any other duties related to showroom sales and operations as assigned by management.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry, with previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales, vehicle specifications, pricing, and the car-buying process.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs, targets, conversion rates, and sales performance management.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and take initiative to achieve business objectives.
