The role:
As a Payment Operations Specialist at Tabby, you will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage payment processing, monitor transaction records, resolve payment-related issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong aptitude for financial operations, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
Payment Processing:
- Manage the end-to-end payment process, including receiving, verifying, and recording incoming payments.
- Process payments through various channels
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing.
Transaction Monitoring:
- Regularly review transaction records and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that all payments adhere to legal and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to payment processing.
Reporting:
- Generate reports related to payment activities, reconciliation, and financial performance for internal stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and insights.
Vendor Management:
- Respond to payment-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain and build relationships with all service providers and market players.
- Ensure cost optimisation and keep up to date with all the latest pricing in the market across all vendors.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized payment records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the archiving and retrieval of financial documents as needed.
You should apply if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in payment processing, financial operations, or a similar role.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and discretion.
