This internship is not educational by default. It is a hands-on analytical role with real responsibility and real impact on product decisions.
Context
Product analysts at Tabby work with product teams to measure, understand, and improve user and partner experiences. This includes defining metrics, building dashboards, validating data quality, supporting experiments, and translating data into actionable insights.
The internship is designed for strong early-career analysts. Interns are embedded into real product teams, work with production data, and are expected to operate with a high level of analytical rigor from day one.

Key Responsibilities
This is not a reporting-only role. Interns work on real analytical tasks under senior review.
- Work with product managers and engineers to define and track product and operational metrics
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports
- Write production-level SQL queries to analyze product behavior and performance
- Support experiments and A/B tests: metric definition, validation, and result analysis
- Investigate product and operational issues using data and identify root causes
- Validate data quality and consistency across sources
- Help document metrics, data definitions, and analytical assumptions
- Present findings clearly to product and business stakeholders
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required
- Strong analytical and quantitative thinking
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic working knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Understanding of how product metrics are used to drive decisions
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and break them into analytical tasks
- Attention to data correctness and reproducibility
- Open to constructive feedback
- English sufficient for documentation and team communication
- Basic understanding of data visualization approaches
Strong plus
- Experience with product or marketplace analytics
- Experience supporting A/B tests or experiments
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts
- Exposure to ML-driven features or analytical validation of ML outputs
- Experience working with large datasets or analytical warehouses
- Interest in product discovery, UX, or growth analytics
- Experience working with data visualization tools
- Experience with Git or versioned workflows is a plus

- Internship is structured and administered through HRDF
- We welcome both current students and fresh grads
- We expect a full-time level of engagement throughout the internship. The program is not part-time: interns should be ready to contribute at a full working-day pace. We understand that students may occasionally need flexibility for classes or exams, which can be aligned with the mentor in advance, but overall performance, ownership, and context involvement are expected at a full-time level.
