We are looking for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer to own and develop our Saudi Arabia network landscape across office sites, data center infrastructure, and cloud connectivity.

This role is for a strong individual contributor who can reliably run day-to-day operations and also lead network rollout and improvement projects. The engineer will be the primary network owner in KSA and will support a growing multi-site environment that includes office networks, contact center environments, Wi-Fi, security controls, remote access, cloud connectivity, monitoring, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations and Ownership
  • Own the health, availability, and security of KSA network infrastructure across offices, data center, and cloud
  • Act as the primary network escalation point in Saudi Arabia
  • Maintain and improve LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet edge, firewalling, site connectivity, and cloud interconnectivity
  • Ensure stable and supportable operations for business-critical environments, including office users, contact center users, server infrastructure, and cloud-hosted services

Design and Implementation

  • Design, implement, and support routed and switched networks across multiple sites
  • Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing and network segmentation
  • Build and maintain VLAN design, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, and firewall policies
  • Deploy and support new network equipment, including rack planning, cabling coordination, initial configuration, migration, and cutover activities
  • Support branch and office openings, expansions, relocations, and infrastructure refreshes
  • Work with cloud and platform teams on secure connectivity between KSA sites and Google Cloud

Security and Access Control

  • Implement and maintain secure network access controls
  • Support 802.1X, port security, segmentation, and secure access design
  • Work with SecOps / compliance stakeholders on firewall changes, hardening, logging, and policy enforcement
  • Support remote access and zero-trust / Zero Data Office style architectures where network controls are part of a broader identity-first model

Wi-Fi and Office Networking

  • Operate and improve enterprise Wi-Fi environments in KSA offices
  • Troubleshoot wireless coverage, roaming, authentication, performance, interference, and client onboarding issues
  • Support office networking standards for user access, guest access, meeting rooms, printers, phones, thin clients, and other edge devices

Monitoring and Observability

  • Own network monitoring for KSA infrastructure
  • Onboard new sites and network devices into Zabbix
  • Build meaningful dashboards, thresholds, and alerts
  • Improve visibility into availability, latency, packet loss, interface health, and critical service dependencies
  • Define what is truly critical, what should alert, and what should be tracked for trend/capacity purposes

Vendor and Partner Management

  • Work directly with vendors, ISPs, system integrators, and support partners
  • Open, drive, and follow through support cases with equipment vendors and service providers
  • Coordinate with procurement and internal stakeholders on equipment selection and technical requirements
  • Review quotes, validate specifications, and help choose fit-for-purpose equipment

Documentation and Standards

  • Keep network diagrams, standards, addressing plans, rack layouts, and operational notes up to date
  • Contribute to infrastructure standards for KSA office and branch deployment
  • Create implementation plans, rollback plans, and operational runbooks where needed

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network/security infrastructure roles
  • Experience supporting multi-site enterprise networks across offices and branch locations
  • Strong practical knowledge of:
    • Routing and switching
    • Dynamic routing protocols
    • VLANs and segmentation
    • Firewalls and security policies
    • Site-to-site VPNs and remote access
    • Enterprise Wi-Fi
    • Network troubleshooting across L2/L3/L4
  • Strong production experience with Fortinet environments
  • Experience with network monitoring systems such as Zabbix
  • Experience deploying and operating network equipment in real business environments, not only designing on paper
  • Experience working with vendors and opening / driving support cases
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership as the main network engineer for a country environment
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with thin client / office edge environments
  • Experience troubleshooting adjacent infrastructure such as voice gateways, GSM gateways, or other network-connected appliances
  • Experience with HA firewall design, load balancing, or secure remote access platforms
  • Experience supporting rollout projects in new offices or branch networks
