Technical Writer Intern – Platform Operations

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven and organized Technical Writer Intern to support the Platform Operations team. In this role, you’ll help improve how knowledge is captured, structured, and shared by organizing internal documentation, refining runbooks, and building easy-to-navigate content libraries.

You'll work closely with support engineers, platform teams, and operations leads to ensure our technical knowledge is consolidated, accessible, and up-to-date.

What You’ll Do

· Assist in documenting operational workflows, platform procedures, incident response guides, and runbooks

· Audit and organize existing documentation, identifying outdated or duplicate content

· Help standardize and structure knowledge articles using consistent templates, metadata, and categories

· Support the migration and cleanup of documentation across tools like Confluence, Notion, or SharePoint

· Collaborate with support and engineering teams to clarify technical content

· Improve searchability and discoverability of internal documentation resources

What We’re Looking For

Required:

· Strong organizational and written communication skills

· High attention to detail and a methodical approach to structuring content

· Ability to work independently and proactively in a technical environment

· Comfortable using or learning tools such as Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, Google Docs, or similar

· Currently pursuing any Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have:

· Interest in knowledge documentation and platform operations

· Previous experience working with documentation systems or knowledge bases

· Familiarity with concepts like SOPs, incident documentation, or support workflows
