Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Intern who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. This internship provides hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated Smoke and Regression Test Suites using Playwright, while exploring the use of AI-assisted tools to enhance test automation efficiency and coverage.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn modern QA practices, has a strong attention to detail, and values quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Smoke and Regression testing using Playwright

• Assist in analyzing application requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios

• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and quality gaps

• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test creation, maintenance, and optimization

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure quality standards are met

• Document test cases, automation workflows, and test execution results clearly and accurately

• Participate in the automation scripts code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks and processes

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts

• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus

• Exposure to or strong interest in test automation tools, particularly Playwright, is an advantage

• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset

• Passion for software quality and continuous learning

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A personal laptop is required to participate in this internship

Nice to Have

• Experience with version control tools such as Git

• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

• Interest or experience in AI-assisted testing or automation tools

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices
