About the Role

As a Cloud Application Engineer, you will design, develop, document, and test cybersecurity analytics applications in AWS. There are multiple roles open for various levels of experience. This role reports to the Director, AI Engineering.

You will:

  • Have the opportunity to contribute to architecture, design, and strategy
  • Develop in Python and work with AWS-native services and databases
  • Work in a fast-paced startup environment that encourages creativity and innovation
  • Work on analytical and data-centric microservices/applications
  • Have the opportunity to work on industry unique, cutting-edge AI

You Have:

  • Excellent Python skills with 5+ years of working on production software
  • Experience working with data structures, models, and databases
  • Experience building containerized microservices
  • Interest in analytics, various types of AI, and cybersecurity data
  • Outstanding documentation skills and fastidious developer traits

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Postgres SQL, EKS, Redis, Neptune
  • Experience working with and building APIs
  • Experience with applied ML applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working on cybersecurity analytics platforms such as SIEM, UEBA et al

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
