Position Overview: The Vice President of Product Management at Trustwave will lead the strategic direction and execution of our product portfolio, including Managed Security Services (MSS), Consulting and Professional Services (CPS), and the Fusion Security Operations Platform. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the product strategy for Trustwave’s MSS, CPS, and Fusion Security Operations Platform, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including market research, competitive analysis, product design, development, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery. Collaborate with both direct and matrix-reporting team members to drive product initiatives.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback, understand market needs, and ensure our products deliver exceptional value.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Alliance Support: Ensure key offerings align with Trustwave’s key technology alliance priorities and programs, including those related to Microsoft Security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cybersecurity or related technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing both direct and matrix-reporting teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, including MSS, CPS, and security operations platforms.

Education

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
