What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Bilingual Recruiter to provide world class candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. As a Recruiter at Vacasa, you will own the end end management of your requisitions and will be responsible for building strong partnerships with your internal stakeholders and colleagues. You will consult with hiring managers in the US and Latin America to drive talent attraction campaigns and employ innovative search strategies to attract top talent. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert on Vacasa’s recruiting processes and best practices and an advocate for the employee experience.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and facilitate recruiting strategy.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing strategies, interview processes, offer negotiations, and for assigned requisitions.
- Generate a pipeline of highly qualified candidates for a variety of positions, in both technical, non-technical, high volume, and service level roles.
- Actively pursue all channels (Internet, networking, social media, etc) to form a knowledge base of where to find the best candidates for each particular role.
- Conduct interviews, both over the phone and virtually, to assess candidate suitability.
- Serve as an advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, compliance, selection protocols, offer management, etc.
- Maintain accurate records using the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and produce reports on all phases of the recruitment process.
- Develop knowledge of current marketplace and trends to ensure competitive hiring tactics.
- Work cross-functionally within the broader Human Resources and provide coverage to our HR team in Chile including but not limited to:
- Facilitate transitions with the HR department ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information.
- Process and/or track time sensitive tasks such as: performance improvement plans, absences, and accommodations.
- Administer the local benefits program under the direction of the Benefits department.
- Interact directly with employees and managers on sensitive matters as assigned, such as investigations, performance training, terminations, etc.
- Process, verify and maintain documentation related to HR programs, such as contract addendums, medical leaves, severance payments, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to employees, social security, terminations and payroll.
- Other duties, as assigned.
The Skills You’ll Need
- 1-2 years of experience recruiting in a full life-cycle environment; proven record of successfully recruiting and sourcing for technical and non-technical roles.
- 1+ years of Generalist HR Experience.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish / English)
- Passion for creating a positive experience for both the candidate and hiring manager.
- Strong knowledge of interviewing techniques and trends.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates.
- Familiarity with and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting tools.
- Self-motivated, goal driven, and passionate about helping find talent to build great teams.
- Proven success in managing multiple tasks, projects, and searches simultaneously; ability to manage time and prioritization in tracking tasks and details effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships with individuals in all levels of the organization and community.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Focus on continuous improvement.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to jump in and help where needed.
- The ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and embrace changes as they arise.
- Ability to work onsite at our office in downtown Santiago 2-3 days / week
