Do you like to clean? Does creating a clean, organized and welcoming environment make you smile? We’d love to have you join our resort team this season as a Common Area Attendant! We’re looking for hard working individuals to upkeep our resort common areas and ensure our guests arrive to a welcoming environment that’s clean and organized with everything they expect for a memorable vacation.

This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as 5/15/26 and work through end of season on or around 10/15/26. As a part-time, seasonal position, exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next.

Compensation

  • $15 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

Essential Job Functions

  • Clean and maintain the common areas of the community association, HOA, or resort to meet property standards.
  • Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies.
  • Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Keep walkways, stairs, and all other public spaces maintained.
  • Clean restroom areas and replace paper and cleansing products.
  • Wash windows.
  • Maintain common amenities such as a fitness center, pool, spa, game room, or recreation facility.
  • Keep grounds free of debris in various weather conditions.
  • Perform light maintenance on the common areas of the property, such as changing light bulbs, tightening door handles, and touching up painting.
  • Assist with preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance.
  • Keep the property secure and assist with providing access to owners, their guests, and approved third parties.
  • Help with protecting the property in advance of and after severe weather events.
  • Provide regular status reports of common area property to Community Association Manager.

Skills + Qualifications

  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment, as well as cleaning techniques.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing of supplies and equipment.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work independently and follow instructions regarding priorities of tasks or functions.
  • Must learn the standards for cleanliness and maintenance of all common areas inside and outside.
  • Applied verbal and written communications
  • Attention to detail
  • Reasonable comfort level with computers and smartphones

Workplace Environment + Physical Requirements

  • Work may take place indoors or outdoors, in a variety of settings including private homes, resorts, offices, and laundry facilities — often in varying weather conditions.
  • We’re in hospitality and our schedules can change based on guest and homeowner needs. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We require flexibility to support this.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
