About the role:

The Senior Solutions Consultant, IT is a crucial new role at Vena that bridges the gap between our business needs and technical solutions. Drawing on their past experiences, the individual in this role will collaborate with internal business units to understand their challenges, propose tailored solutions, and guide them through implementation and change projects. This role will work closely with business leaders, IT experts, and other stakeholders to foster innovation, improve productivity, and support the achievement of our organization's broader objectives. Vena's IT landscape includes a set of core systems (SFDC, Netsuite, ADP, and Microsoft 365) and many adjacent, function-specific systems. In some cases, these systems are well integrated and configured, in other cases adjustments are required to eliminate manual effort across the businesss. The Senior Solutions Consultant, IT will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to gain an understanding of key business processes and building a roadmap that drives rationalization of our technology stack while improving system integrations and configuration to improve efficiency and quality. The overarching objective is to improve Vena's scalability on our journey of rapid growth.

What you will do:

  • Business Alignment: Build and nurture strong relationships with leaders from diverse business units to gain deep insights into their operations, challenges, and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor and partner in providing technology solutions that drives business success.
  • Strategic Planning: Support an IT strategy that harmonizes with the organization's overall business strategy. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to gain a competitive edge and drive growth. Ensure that technology investments are closely aligned with business priorities
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement and optimization. Work with cross-functional teams to redesign and implement new processes that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance. Gather and document detailed business requirements through interviews and workshops.
  • Solution Architecture: Conceptualize, build and implement scalable solutions that directly address the unique needs of the business units. Identify opportunities for process re-engineering, automation, cost savings, and efficiency improvements. Ensure that solutions are user-friendly and precisely tailored to meet business requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to solution offerings.
  • Project Leadership: Participate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on schedule and within budget. Collaborate with the IT PMO to monitor project progress, anticipate and address risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Keep business stakeholders informed of project status and outcomes.
  • Change Management: Champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during technology implementations. Encourage and support user adoption by providing training and assistance as needed.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the impact of IT solutions on business unit performance. Continually assess the effectiveness of technology solutions and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the IT department, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and improve IT processes, systems, and services, striving for excellence and efficiency.

Does this sound like you?:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a senior Solutions Consultant position or similar role.
  • Track record of proposing and executing technology solutions that reduce technology expenses, while increasing efficiency, productivity, and scalability within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important for gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Experience with ADP, Netsuite, SalesForce and MS365
  • Experience with integrations across many B2B SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to manage interactions at all levels of business.
  • Individuals who can demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Able to understand and grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate and build consensus.
