The Technical Analyst is a critical new role at Vena and will implement and support multiple technologies and solutions at scale within the enterprise technical landscape. This role will be responsible for recommending technical approaches, design integrations, understand business challenges, and build tailored solutions. A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, integration platforms and/or ServiceNow is required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across time zones to support a global internal customer base.

Technical Expertise

  • Lead the design, development, testing and support of multiple platforms including ServiceNow or SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies
  • Build complex integrations, using an iPaaS platform like Workato,
  • between critical business applications
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to solution offerings

Incident Management

  • Act as the second or third level support for IT-related issues, providing
  • timely and effective solutions
  • Document and track incidents, managing the resolution process and escalating issues as needed
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues

Project Involvement

  • Support IT projects, including systems migrations, integrations and new technology implementations
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of technology strategies that align with business objectives

Security & Compliance

  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing IT security protocols to protect sensitive business data
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in regular security audits and assessments

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities
  • Provide training and support to internal users and team members

Innovation

  • Foster a culture of innovation within the IT department, encouraging
  • experimentation and the adoption of new technologies, including AI to
  • improve processes and service
  • Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance system efficiency,
  • security, and user experience

Continuous Improvement

  • Continually assess and improve IT processes, systems, and services,
  • striving for excellence and efficiency

Does this sound like you?

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a technical position or similar role.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • ServiceNow ITSM & GRC modules
    • SharePoint architecture, Designer, sites, libraries & web parts
    • Microsoft Azure & M365 technologies
  • Track record of building and maintaining integrations between business application preferably using an iPaaS platform and utilizing APIs
  • Knowledge of data mapping and transformation
  • Understanding of enterprise software and SaaS applications (example: NetSuite & Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important for gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and proactively proposing effective solutions
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to manage interactions at all levels of business
  • Individuals who can demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and protocols.
  • Able to understand and grasp new technologies or concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their business impact
