Job Description

About the opportunity

You’ll join our Education vertical as a Payments Support Administrator on a 6 month fixed-term contract to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers’ experiences.

Reporting into the Payments Team Lead , you will help us by providing efficient and effective administrative support to our Payments team and wider organisation.

Some of the other responsibilities include:

  • Perform general administrative duties.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
  • Assisting with preparation of documents.
  • Understands the system, default process and how the customer accounts should progress to ensure the customers information is correct.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Follow up with customer correspondence where necessary.
  • Collaborate with other team members & departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.

For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you’ll spend three days per week in the office and two working from home if you're based in Melbourne , otherwise 100% remote for the rest of Australia.

Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

  • Strong Customer Service and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - The ability to liaise with Stakeholders on a day to day basis via telephone (excellent telephone manner), email and face-to-face in a clear, caring, concise and professional manner
  • Problem solving skills: able to identify the exact details of a problem through a rational process and be able to take steps to ensure a successful resolution.
  • Attention to detail, able to document details of issues clearly in a concise, understandable manner.
  • Ability to work in a team where you manage your own time and priorities.
  • Motivated by a fast-paced environment where you will have to constantly adapt - no two days are the same!
  • You’re a true team player who knows that we all have to sometimes roll up our sleeve.
  • Excellent ability to investigate data,
  • Ability to make an effective decision.
  • Desire to Learn and want to grow
  • Ability to hold difficult conversations.
